A chocolate cake without sugar and without butter ?! But why?? I decided to reduce a maximum sugar in home recipes! Sugar is responsible for many ailments and apart from making us addict, fat and in poor health, it has no nutritional interest. Why continue to consume as much when it can be replaced by really natural alternatives (I do not speak about stevia) and which in addition bring the sweet taste, fibers, vitamins and minerals?
This recipe will give you a texture similar to brownie, a little more melting.
- 5 eggs
- 200g of chocolate 70%
- 100g of flour
- 250g of applesauce
Preparation of sugar-free chocolate cake
Melt the chocolate in a bain marie.
Separate the yolks and the egg whites. Beat the egg yolks with the applesauce.
Gently stir in the flour. Mix until smooth. Add the warm melted chocolate.
Put a pinch of salt in the egg whites and beat them in snow.
Gently stir the eggs into the dough.
Place a sheet of parchment paper in a mold and pour the chocolate paste.
Bake at 170 ° for 15 minutes for a melting result, 20 minutes for a firmer result.
If, like me, you want to decrease your sugar intake, go to Replace sugar in the kitchen.
PS: Stop the sugar yes, but above all continue to have fun! Otherwise this is not tenable. That’s why this recipe contains chocolate, which itself contains a little sugar and it is more than enough to sweeten this cake. For a change to be sustainable, it must above all be tenable. I never got hungry, and I will not start today!
