Chocolate Marble Madeleines

A tasty and beautiful twist on the tender, delicious shell-shaped cookie. 100% kid approved!

Yields 15 madeleines

Prep Time: 8 min - Cook Time: 12 min - Total Time: 20 min

Ingredients:

Equipment:

  • 2 mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Madeleine pan (or muffin pan)
  • Spoons

Directions:

  1. Melt the butter.
 
  2. In a bowl, pour the Madeleine baking mix. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth. 
  3. Add the melted butter and the honey, mixing until incorporated.
 
  4. Pour half of the batter in another mixing bowl. Add the cocoa powder and whisk until combined.
  5. Scoop 1 tsp of the plain the batter into the cavities of the Madeleine pan. Then scoop 1 tsp of the chocolate madeleine batter into the cavities of the Madeleine pan. (filling them 2/3 full.) 
  6. Use a toothpick or knife to swirl.
  7. Preheat the oven at 350°F. When the oven is at temperature, bake for 10 to 12 min.
