It’s time to relax with your family in the countryside. On these occasions the french club sandwich is liable to make an appearance, which is nothing to blush about, unless it’s with pleasure.
Serves 2 people:
- 3 slices thickly sliced wholemeal bread
- 200g Fourme d’Ambert blue cheese
- 200g smoked duck magret, sliced
- Half a pear
- 150g rocket
- 5 cherry tomatoes
Preparation of the french club sandwich
Peal and cut the pear into slices. Cut the blue cheese. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes.
On the first slice of bread:
Spread out the duck slices, the finely sliced pear and the cut Fourme d’Ambert. Place a second slice of bread on top.
Lay the rocket and tomatoes, cut in two, on top of the second slice of bread and add the third slice on top. Cut into triangles.
Wrap your french club sandwich with clingfilm and take it with you at work !
