Potato galette are grated potato pancakes. They are fried and are eaten as an accompaniment or for a brunch. Much better than french fries right?
- 3 potatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- Salt pepper
Preparation of potato galette
Peel the potatoes, onion and garlic. Grate the potatoes over a colander. Drain them by pressing them manually. Grate the onion and garlic. Mix them with the potatoes and season.
By hand, make small balls with this mixture and flatten them into small patties about 1 cm thick.
Heat a lightly oiled pan. Cook the mats 10 minutes on each side. You can also cook them in the fryer in a few minutes. After cooking, put them in paper towels.
