As a huge fan of french dessert, I’ll be more than happy to teach you how to bake my favorites ones : macarons, tarte tatin, crêpes, financier, etc.

French cooking camp: Tour de France SOLD OUT!

You can choose 2, 3 or 5 full days of French cooking camp. This cooking camp will be totally in French and is for kids + 10 years old. You can choose the day you want! After booking, just send an email with the day you want through the contact page.

In the morning we will cook together and lunch together. During the afternoon, we will prepare specific preparation that children will take back home with them, while listening to French music and speak about French culture.

Every day from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

Day 1 : 

  • What we’ll cook together for the lunch:
    • Poulet à la moutarde et gratin dauphinois
    • Tarte au citron
    • Limonade maison
  • Afternoon preparation (To take home):
    • French baguette


Day 2 : 

  • What we’ll cook together for the lunch:
    • Quiche Lorraine with tomato and basil salad
    • Fondant au chocolat
    • Fruit granité
  • Afternoon preparation (To take home):
    • Chocolate macarons


Day 3 : 

  • What we’ll cook together for the lunch:
    • Poulet basquaise (Chicken with vegetables)
    • Mousse au chocolat
    • Water fruit
  • Afternoon preparation (To take home):
    • Tarte Tatin


Day 4 : 

  • What we’ll cook together for the lunch:
    • Tartes aux légumes et parmesan
    • Crêpes
    • Kid Mojito (Alcohol free)
  • Afternoon preparation (To take home):
    •  Quatre-quarts


Day 5 : 

  • What we’ll cook together for the lunch:
    • Filets de poulet farcis (Chicken stuffed with vegetables)
    • Petits pots de crème au chocolat (French style chocolate cream)
    • Mimosa (Alcohol free)
  • Afternoon preparation (To take home):
    • Sablé bretons



What kids will learn

1. Cooking skills

Kitchen safety and hygiene. Wash, peel and cut fruits and vegetables. Read and follow a recipe. Measuring & mixing. Seasoning. Cooking fresh ingredients. Whip eggs white. French macaron’s secret.

2. French and European culture

Each day, we will be in a new atmosphere, thanks to a new decoration. Each atmosphere will reflect the topic of the day. Kids will be told the story of the dishes, fun fact about France and about French cuisine.

Every day, we will learn together the art of setting up a pretty table as well as french good manners while eating.

Cooking classes will be given by Isabel Mota, licensed with food manager certificate and French native. She also gives french culinary art classes at the Alliance Française de Dallas. And is also the founder of the 1st French baking mixes created to help people bake French desserts at home.

Nonrefundable, Classes are only available as a 2/3/5-days series. No single day enrollments.
